I'm glad you're happy without a woman in your life... that's the way it should be anyway because life isn't only based on love and relationships. Huh? Your mom is going to Adoration instead of helping your celebrate your day? Oh well. Look at the bright side, I guess. At least she is in church and has her faith. You're lucky in that regard - not everyone has a mom who goes to church. I love Catholic church (was raised Catholic). As I got older, there was so much they practice that I don't believe in, but for the most part, they're okay. Every denomination or church has it's faults. Hey TPFB, cheer up about the girl. If she won't sing happy birthday for you and give you at least a kiss on the forehead,I'd say whatever and not let it get to me. How can I get a birthday present to you. Don't know what yet - have some ideas, though. If you ever feel down and under, go for a quick swim. It always helps me and really gets your endorphins and adrenaline going. Think about your diary friends. Bid on an Ebay cd. My husband used to work the 2-11 shift at a call center here, all weekends, off on Tues/Wed. He's now on an 11-8 shift which is much better. Hope all else is well. Take care and keep rocking. Try one of those eye masks to keep the light out when sleeping. Not only does it keep the light out, it also helps to keep your eyes closed. I love soymilk. It is one of those things you either love or can't stand. I love it!!! I love being a matchmaker. I have two neighbors that are perfect for each other. Working on that one. Well, you got me to wanting a Tom Petty cd, so I'm currently bidding on the Anthology one on eBay. I'm 39 and still working on my degrees. It's hard to finish school and work full-time (and come up with the $$$) through the years. Classes start 8/23. Waiting to get my student loan amount. I made a list of all the concerts (and year) that I've been to, and it was really hard to remember them all! My favorites were probably Crosby, Stills & Nash, and Elton John. I hate it when people frown on internet friendships. Friendships are friendships - doesn't matter if they're made through today's technology. Hope finding your own place is going well. One of my favorite songs is his "Don't Come Around Here No More." It was on the jukebox in a restaurant I worked in back in '82 and I absolutely loved it. Is the author a friend or musician or you? Very deep and real. I love being an admirer, too (synonym for fan). I think it is very noble to appreciate talent, etc. in others. It's so true about lonliness. The more diaries I read, the more I see that we are all so very much alike.
